Bert Faye
Bert Faye
Bert is the CEO and founder of Primary Mechanical. He brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his leadership, with over 45 years in the mechanical and HVAC industries. Starting in a sheet metal shop in high school, Bert quickly progressed from sweeping floors to running projects by 1984. After years of honing his skills in commissioning and custom balance, Bert founded Primary Mechanical in 1994. Bert’s knowledge of complex mechanical systems, especially in pharma and biotech industries, has earned him a loyal client base built over decades. Known for his in-the-field leadership and deep industry knowledge, Bert thrives on tackling challenging projects. Outside of work, he enjoys fly-fishing, hunting, trail running – having completed a 50-mile trail run in 2024. He is proud to have his three sons working alongside him to continue the family legacy.
Ryan Faye
Ryan Faye
Ryan serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Primary Mechanical, working closely with staff and overseeing daily administration. From a young age, Ryan grew up surrounded by the family business, learning the trade alongside his brothers and father. He earned his BS in Construction Management from Cal State Chico in 2010 and developed his professional experience as a project manager, senior project manager, and VP of operations. Ryan is passionate about construction, particularly mechanical work, and enjoys seeing designs transform into reality. He also enjoys the camaraderie of his peers and is known for his dedication, persistence, and honesty. Outside of work, he’s an avid outdoorsman and is deeply knowledgeable about the terrain and landscape of the backcountry of Wyoming. He enjoys hunting and fishing with his dog Moose and has recently become a search and rescue volunteer.
Anthony Faye
Anthony Faye
Anthony serves as an Estimator and Project Manager at Primary Mechanical, providing expertise in preconstruction, design analysis, budgeting, and management. Anthony began his career at Primary, working and learning alongside his family starting at age 16.
After earning a BS in Construction Management from Chico State, internships in mechanical construction, and working as a project manager for Dome Construction, Anthony returned to Primary Mechanical in 2024. Anthony is proud to continue his family’s legacy, applying his experience from his work in life sciences and pharma. When he’s not working, Anthony is an avid trail-runner and ultra-marathoner, and he’s secretly really good at ping pong. Anthony shares his life with his fiancé Jess and their dog Newt. He and Jess are expecting a baby girl in March 2025.
Rob Faye
Rob Faye
Rob is an Estimator and the Service Manager at Primary Mechanical, where he works closely with clients handling everything from service calls, maintenance, and repairs to proposals and project estimates. Starting as a young apprentice in 2005, Rob has worked his way up through every facet of the trade, gaining hands-on experience in residential, light commercial, and large-scale commercial projects. A proud family man and expert tradesman, Rob is honored to be carrying on the legacy of his father’s work and excited to be growing the family business alongside his brothers. He is proud of the resiliency, honesty, and determination of his family and knows that their potential as a business is limitless. Rob is an all-around sports enthusiast who enjoys spending quality time with his children while coaching and mentoring kids in baseball. Rob and his wife Krystal have two sons, Robby and Konnor.
